Those that are spending that money on new trucks must be different than the vast majority of tree surgeons in this part of East Anglia who are running around in Transits 10+ years old.

All the ones around me either have new kit or really old kit. It seems to be night and day here 😂

I guess it's the same around here, and in any trade. The only other truly independent drainage lad I know around here Rocks about in a new van, high end gear, me on the other hand... I rock up in an old Transit with a 12 year old machine and get the job done for very similar money. The difference is, he'll go out 24/7 on emergency work. Horses for courses I guess.
