Used Bandit stump grinders? What are they worth?

We are thinking that possibly we could streamline our stump grinding operation, possibly replacing the HB20 and the 2150 with an SG40.

We don't do many big stumps, the big grinder probably only goes out a couple of times a month, the little one  goes out more but only a couple of times a week.

We could also get rid of a trailer and free up some space.

The HB20 in a 2011 model we have had since new, it has had a new engine last year, and clutch last week, the clock says 465 hrs. It is currently running fine.

The 2150 also a 2011 model (we purchased in 2015) runs fine on a long teather, we have a remote but it does not worked reliably and we have not managed to find someone with the electrical knowhow to sort and as its works fine without we never really pursued the fix. I didn't have the key so not sure of the hours, but they will be low for the age of the machine.

They have NOT been tarted up. They have the original stickers from the factory.

Dean at Bandit has given us a trade in price and there is a wait for the SG40's so there is no rush to be rid of them.

What do people think they are worth on the private market?

The little one with a new engine probably getting on for 3,5-4k, the 2150 10k?    +vat

A 2150 4x4 with 38hp petrol was for sale for 9k +vat recently in denmark, not sure of hours but looked clean

What have you been offered trade in?

Can't see any reason to part with a paid off diesel grinder owned from new if it really is 40hp+. At least would keep it as backup and to be able to tackle bigger jobs, instead of feeding the competition with cheap machines.

It has 150% of the torque the sg40 gives and only sips fuel and what are the 15k today you may get from it? Check the price for 40hp+ diesel grinders, lean back and smile. Hell yeah, take a couple thousand and get that electrical issue sortet or upgrade that wired remote to a wireless one. If it's really used that rarely, it will stay the rest of your career with you.
