i recieved the following email from someone unknown yesterday (this is cut and pasted exactly):-

Subject: REPLY

Message: hi im lookin to start up my own bussiness selling fire wod fire lighters and stuff can u email ur prices in tonnes please many thanks

:confused1: that was all of it, no introduction, no signature:thumbdown:

was'nt sure how to reply, thought about it, read the "How do i identify ash" thread, and replied with the following

Not really mate.

I know as much about you, as you know about the industry, how to spell and request information.

Best of luck to you, and if this is how you go about starting up then you have already failed!!

i did feel like asking him if he would like a copy of the accounts and the location for all the keys to the yard!!!

feel free to let rip ( i know you will anyway).... how would you have replied???

I would have done exactly as you did. It's an awful shame that communication is now based on what will fit on a mobile phone screen.
