descending on 10mm access line

When using a frog walker system on 10mm rope for access what method is used if you need to come down before being able to tie in with your working rope system

seen a few videos of going up but not how to get down on the same 10mm rope

Thats a whole load of faffing around and well outdated! You'd probably want to throw a prusik round the rope and add a fig8

SRT looks like a faff
Probably my ignorance and lack of knowledge about it.

Really dislike the thin climbing lines. Feels like a shoe lace in your hand.

Is that graphic accurate ? Surely attaching anything around your neck instead of your chest Is a flawed idea in any climbing technique [emoji38]??

Is this for recreational use or for tree work?

If for tree work then you'd be better off using a more versatile system, incorporating a descender like the TAZ Lov2 to capture progress and then be able to descend (replacing the Croll/Basic ascender in your picture), and that way you'd be rigged for rescue. Look into knee ascenders, much more efficient than frogwalking.
Also why use 10mm line? The new ICOP doesn't actually seem to mention a minimum diameter for rope (just a MBS which a lot of 10mm cords surpass) but most ascenders/devices for industrial and work use require a minimum 11mm diamter rope.

Lots of useful info and resources on youtube if you can't get on an intro to SRT course at the moment.
