I would like to put the record straight regarding Fletcher Stewart and Jo-Beau.

We advised Jo-Beau backend of last year that due to the current pricing structure and the euro exchange rate problem that the Jo-Beau product range is now out of reach in terms of price to the customer it was intended for. At present we have decided to discontinue promoting the range until further notice but will still support the product in terms of supply of spare parts. Our decission on this matter is purely a commercial one. The Jo-Beau product range remains one of the best on the market today.

The above response re F.Stewart and Jo Beau is exactly what I'd heard but parts no problem. Silly Jo Beau I reckon - excellent machines.

Yes, the M500 is self propelled and I needed it to be; south devon is like lots of humpback bridges - not alot of flat level ground anywhere! Hydrostatic fwd and reverse 0 - 4 km/h I think.

Should revolutionise chipping habits - less (not all) chip to take away, don't chip anything bigger than 3-4" anymore anyway (firewood) etc etc.
