I honestly wouldn’t bother with the Panther bar, we’re pretty careful with ours and it didn’t last long at all. I couldn’t get hold of Rob, guess they’re busy, so in the end I bought the 10” stihl bar and chain for a 150 and used that, works brilliantly. It does however mean drilling a new tensioner hole in the Stihl bar so it fits the echo

Sorry about that - don't think I remember seeing a message or e-mail - if you tried phoning then no we're struggling to answer the phones mainly due to extra workload. But yep for some the Panther bars don't work out.

All the small mount Stihl bars will fit the Echo 2511. They have the gap that leads from the tension hole into the bar groove.

And yes you need only to add a drive link and they work fine.

Iv ordered a couple panther 1/4 chains to run and see how they go. I don’t have my own workshop so I sharpen all my saws on site which is abit annoying but hoping the panther chain is easier to do. I tried fitting a 4mm file into the 1/4 chain but thought it was too large but I’ll check that again 👍
