Tractor starting problem

Right sorted now. It was the Solenoid that was faulty, when I disconected the cable from the solenoid to the starter I realised that the solenoid connection was duff so Ive put a new one on and its as good as new. Just shows that you were all right in saying check and double check the connections. Many thanks for all your help

Got Layla sorted aswell, took started motor off and got it tested........all ok:confused1: mmmmm have sorted earths and gonna do cables at the weekend, put starter back on and CLICK, nowt.......Grrrrr then it dawned, get the batterys tested:blushing:........1 Totally knackered, tuther needs a GOOD charge (i have a crap battery charger aswell) but might be OK. so brand new 96amp battery and she fires up first time!:thumbup1: Oil change and hydraulics to do at the weekend now.
