Downsizing bar length

Recommended Posts

It's very easy. You just put this in the browsers...

Using our unique Chainsawbars Selector, select your chainsaw make, model and bar...

And then you select Husqvarna

Then 266

And then you select your bar choice.

Loads of options for 16 and 18 inch

Don't forget chains!

Simples.

I’ve got an old Husqvana 266se (65cc) with a 20” bar. Can I go down to a 18” or even a 16”?

Have a look on chainsawbars.co.uk pop your saw model in the drop down boxes and it’ll list availability on whats good to fit your saw, they list quite a few from 13” up to 32”

Thanks Wyk, as you said simple!

although according to the guide I could put a 13” bar on a 65cc saw...! Not advisable surely?

If you feel like cuttin' holes in people's doors all day long with that 266, I'd reckon a 13 inch bar would do just fine.
