I currently process ash logs into ibc cages, put lids on them.  Leave for a season then handball into bulk bags upto a couple of week before delivery.  Its takes just as long to bag up as it does to process plus alot on moving etc.  Most round here process into barns etc.  whats advantages & disadvantages to barn stored as may save alot of time?

It takes me more time to move the logs about as they dry than actualy splitting and cutting them. I don't have the space for a big pile so after splitting they get stacked, and then when dry, stacked inside the garage for the winter. I would say that the main advantage of a barn is you don't have to handle the logs as much and therefore saves time
