So I want to get a fairly good camera so I can film the build up of my new sawmill hm130 max and maybe go on to have a youtube channel but I havent got a clue about them so looking for some tips on what to get I dont want to spend loads so open to suggestions

GoPro hero 9 black is the latest and best. The number is the generation and black is the best in each generation.

 

The main improvements are stability when moving so if you're not filming when in a vehicle or walking it doesn't matter what you get but either way anything from the 7 onwards will film easily in HD with a very stable image.

 

I've got the 7 and it's amazing how still it looks even when riding a quad bike.

 

If you want to make videos it takes a bit of time to learn but editing software like cyberlink power director can be bought as a one off for £80 and will do everything you need.
