Budget Chainsaw Boots

Thanks for all the feedback folks, although tempted by the Treehogs, I went for the Oregon Yukons in the end - I appreciate that neither are likely to be as durable as some of the higher end boots but the 12 month vs 6 month guarantee and the ease of returns with @mazon if the size was wrong swung it in the end.

Arrived this morning and size 44 fitted perfectly and I’ve worn them all day today and they’ve been very comfortable.

Which ones do you mean?? The oregon ones or the tree hog ones?? What spikes you using??

Thanks

john..

Tree Hogs i meant John, heel too rounded, old bashlins. Not a fan of spiking so it hardly mattered with those. K

I have no idea what i should go for.. Do not want to spend a fortune, but want something good with spikes..

john..

Best try on in shop then with yr spikes - bought Treehogs online, comfy from day one fr most of my work. If yr doing lot of climbing on spikes might not be best choice tho. K

Yes, i think that might be best.. Up to now i have just used my ordinary everyday industrial boots from screwfix. BRILLIANT boots especially as they are £16 a pair [and last ages] but useless with spikes as hardly no instep so the spikes twist around all over the place..
