I've been a builder most of my working life and started out as a hod carrier so I know what graft is when I see it.

 

Mick sorted me a load of logs again today () but I didnt split em till I got home.

I spent about 2 hours humping bloody great 'discs' up steps into my garden and then splitting how Mick showed me to do it. ie, properly!!

 

I am well and truly...........erm...........shall we say.....tired!!!!

Feel like I've been beaten up.

 

So,credit where credit is due and top respect to all you blokes that do it day in, day out.

Saucy git, I'll have you know that plastering is bloody hard work, not as hard as splitting logs granted but it's no walk in the park.

You lot might find out one day if you ever manage to learn a productive trade!

Plastering does look quite hard going i had my hall done by a mate and he was sweating like a dog in Chinese restaurant.

It is hard work, Once you've started you cant stop till its finished, that makes a difference.

I agree plastering is very hard work and a good skill to have. I started plastering when i was 14 got told by the guy who taught me you can leave the cupboard under the stairs when it is perfect, only then you can help with the rest of the house. Same with drylining as well.
