Highly unlikely, it is probably a 50cc aftermarket kit on it but a pic of the top of the cylinder will tell us more.

The best outcome is that it is an OEM top end, done a few like that and never needed the primer in this setup.

does that mean the the top cover is hiding the primer bulb as it’s got no hole for it?

 

the de comp button is on the side

if ya look behind the aluminium handle that is circled in your pic. you will see the black VIN plate,  try and take a pic of it and post it up here as that will tell us the model and year of manufacture.

Ok so I have spoken to my father, I have been on holiday for 2 weeks.

 

He ordered the following parts from lse and fitted himself. Don’t ask me why. 
 

Replacement side cover original was orange. 
 

repalcement top cover original was orange. He did not replace the clips.

 

i can’t find the serial number. But I have taken some pics of the cylinder.

If its OEM it will have Mahle on it somewhere

Nothing there.

 

on the cylinder head it has the number 44 in blue writing. Also the code 705070
