Hey there,

I recently upgraded from my old SMH10 to the 10S, one of the crew already had a 10S and really liked it.

I found almost instantly that there was a really nasty high pitched noise whenever we worked around the louder equipment. The kind of sound like when you turn a speaker up too loud and it's going to blow up! I can even hear it when the volume if down at the lowest setting. It's perfect when just talking but even the saws in the background on the lowest volume give me a right headache. I've mucked around with the settings in the app but doesn't seem to make a difference.

Any advice before I switch back to the Smh10?

Have you made sure it’s running the latest software or firmware? (I’m not sure which it is!)

I recently updated mine, I was on V.1.3.0.4 or similar and after the update I was on V2.0.2

I’m not entirely sure of the numbers, but I know it was very out of date. Worth checking perhaps. I had to download the programme to my laptop then plug the device into it to update.

Failing that I’d be getting in touch with place you bought it. I got mine from www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk

Oh and get your mate to check their software version too.

I get this noise sometimes too. Seems to occur when the newer saws are used. Figured it must be something to do with interference from the electronics.
Turning the sena off and back on again stops it for awhile.
