:wtf: just been browsing the wonderfull web on log prices and i came across a company called LOGS2U any one heard of them ? sorry not sure on how to put link up ? but there prices are as follows

 

£150 .00 dumpy bag kiln dried logs

£120.00 " " seasoned logs

£99.00 " " Unseasoned logs ??

 

any one else think that is sodding ridiculas or is it just me ?:confused1:

 

 

oh but its ok though cos there firelighters are only a Quid ! lol

sounds like cpl, as i use coals2u which is their website

 

prices normally vary by locations when you put your postcode in on the coals one, if the logs are kiln dried thats not the daftest price i have seen,

Perhaps those are the sort of prices we should all be aiming towards then there maybe reasonable "profit" in firewood:blushing:

At the moment im getting £60 for a 0.75m cu bag of green ash, and its flying out!

 

I was told the other day, of a coal merchant selling coal at £200 per ton delivered.

 

Not sure if that can be right as it must be cheaper than logs in terms of calorific value, but if people still want to buy wood, lets keep supplying it!

£200/mt coal is cheap down this way, they are trying to sell at £160/1/2mt delivered for standard house coal.

Probably due to the increased popularity of log burners recently.

 

These yuppie types who dont like getting their manicured hands dirty have money to burn, literally!
