Insurance Apprentice

Ive got a real good apprentice, keen, never late to be picked up, not on the phone all the time. He is doing his test and if he passes I'd like to sort him a cheap van to a)save me having to pick him up b) he can carry some kit and c) he can earn himself a bit of cash at weekends.

Anyone gone down this route? Im guessing horrendously expensive ? I';m with NFU so farmers must be having same issue with their kids ?

Bloody hard to find good kids so want to give him a leg up if I can.

I did it with nfu they also allowed him to gain no claims bonus for car when he got one.

got him a 950 cc fiesta van, basically the smallest van possible with only two seats it lowered the liability. Wasn’t cheap but he still works for me 20 years later
