I’ve never heard bad things about there 9” machine but I had a 6” with twin feed rollers and I’ve never owned a chipper with so much down time , it would fall to bits virtually in front of you ! Metal fatigue was so bad it would mean bearings shafts and pumps would need continuously replacing,and welding up .. any way west con equipment where the dealers or could get the parts but like most machines you can get pumps and bearings off the shelf but I definitely got one or two shafts off them... so basically from my experience and friends who owned the 6” run a mile would be my advice.

I was welding the main housing under the chute where it bolts down I think it actually fully snapped off , you could not drive with the chute on as it was too much weight on the main casing , pto pump mount was bad as well and by the time I sold it there was stress cracks going all over the main flywheel housing!
