very tempting, ive been wanting to climb for the past few weeks but because of weather and lack of a climbing buddy close by its been a struggle. but with the christmas break over soon ill be back at myerscough on the 11th, with a full day of aerial rescue then and possibly spiking the week after. spiking just hasngt seemed to be my thing, i dont know what it is, i just cant trust the spikes properly, but it all comes with confidence, go back 6 months and i couldnt climb with any great deal of confidence, now i am fine and i am like a monkey in the trees

Frank be careful around the four day mark! Your body will allow you to pretend you have given up smoking for 4 days but after that it will try and trick you back into it.

Remember its your mind that decided to quit, and your mind must ignore what your body is telling it. So many times I've found myself buying fags on day 4 thinking it was the best idea I'd ever had and not realisign it was a trick!!

Nearly 3 years for me now though!

4 days seems like a lifetime away. I need help and support and maybe one of those little inhaler pen things. oh and some patches and some gum and someone to smack me really hard every time I mention smoking. haha

Thats one of the reasons I have given up smoking. I can manage to get up and chop trees down whilst inhaling the foul smelling smoke of 20 cancer sticks a day but I'm aiming to start the old mountain climbing this year, so need to be proper fit.:thumbup1:
