Path edging

Recommended Posts

Running a temporary path up to a garden office. Scrounged a few slabs to use as stepping stones and will surround them with granite chip. What something to create an edge between the path and the grass. Ultimately the whole garden is going to be landscaped therefore looking for a cheap option for the edging for now. Any suggestions?

The 4x2 runners will want cut down the middle and a point cut on them so there easily rattled into the ground
