Hi Iv just got Timberwolf tw160 and it’s a great only problem I have as it makes a load humming sort of sound that actually seems powder with ear defenders on when I spoke to agent I brought it from he said it’s just how they sound has any one experienced this ???

Yes.

Definitely a totally different sound to the TW125.

 

It was a bit worrying at first but we've got used to it.

Probably just the noise of the flywheel / the air it creates.

How long have you owned yours ? Iv only had 4 days so far very impressed

I've had mine 2.5yrs. Still going strong. Only issue I found was chip building up on the left side of the black plastic roller cover. I cut out a bit of plastic from the bottom of it, which help it clear. You can also poke a stick up to clear chip too.

Have you experienced the humming sound from yours it actually seems louder with ear defenders ?
