What logs are a pain in the rear?

Single blade spliter bill. The axe might be faster for 10 minutes or so, but the hydraulic splitter is tireless.

I have a puney 8ton single blade splitter but can fill the ifor 8'x4'x4' high in an hour and a quarter. I couldn't do that with an axe! Oh and I certainly couldn't do it 3 times in one day with an axe!

It'll have to be a long vid,or time laps,any one can beat a splitter for 10 minuets,but not for 2 or 3 hours or try racing a splitter on twisty Elm.

Bill I have a large heap of timber feel free to come down here and show off your talents, matching a splitter on one tranny load is ok, but its only commercially viable to use an axe if you can match the splitter all day.

might make entertaining viewing though, like the chainsaw operator verses harvester race they used to do at the royal show.
