Thats pretty interesting Tom. Was that on the Hudson Site?

I found a few references to it at 6ton on some european sites. The clutch is rated to what you say though, so you may well be right.

Yh it was mate, i just edited the link in.

its pretty simple, pto on, pull the string and it pulls it in but be very carefull where you stand, keep well away from the linkage area and wear gloves when handling the wire, comunication is everything when winching

When winching keep an eye on the timber being winched AND the tractor. Its a bit of a shocker when you turn and find the tractor is almost at the point where it will flip over!!!!!!!!!!!!
