Yes its possible. Someone on here did it a while back and rated it. Personally i wouldnt, i think itll eat the little bars quite fast, and be annoying to sharpen. But will give a nice fast smooth cut. You'll need a 1/4 plastic worm drive as well for the oiler

If you go for it, report back!

Hiya Bill

Thanks for the reply. It wouldn’t be a full time saw, if just be doing it to see what it’s like. Do you know where I could get the worm gear and whatnot from?

Hello Bill

I’ve done it and I can report back that it’s a beast. The saws ported, cylinder and exhaust and I put my orange GB 150 bar - which seems real strong, and I’m using the northern arb ms150 chain, which isn’t quite as good on a 150 as the stihl chain but is stronger and fine on this. It’s balanced perfectly and absolutely flies!

Sweet, that size chain is a probably the best compromise of small and strong ( stronger than the 150 chain). Is it chattery like the other northern arb chain is?
