Chipper refurbishment

Can anyone recommend a company to refurbish an old 6 inch timber wolf road tow ? Ideally Scotland or north of England.

I dealt with john Mason before, mason woodchippers in yorkshire. Not sure if he refurbishes for people or just for resale but I found him helpful and knowledgeable.

John at Mason woodchippers is a top fella, very helpful and knows chippers like the back of his hand, he will do what ever you want.

Sometimes, a refurbishment isn’t the best use of your funds. If it looks tatty but chips well, then leave it alone as spending a chunk of money doesn’t magically improve its value to anyone but you. If it needs mechanical refurbishment then weigh up the cost against putting that money into a new unit and have warranty etc.
