Both my cutters are Husqvarna ( surprise , surprise ) Single sided and long reach . They seem to run faster than others . We were cutting Yew hedges for a French pharmaceutical company that make cancer drugs from the cuttings  and my mate said my cutter sounded like a saw . I have had no problems with either tools .
