:001_smile:hi there, im wanting to start trying out some carving as got a big stack of logs building up. done a bit of research about carving bars but though id ask your advise. ive got a 260 so first question is do the clutches and bars fit this? i know its probably not the lightest saw for detail but tis a possibility to get something a bit smaller, 181 or sumthing. other two bits are the dime and quarter bars, would these fit a 260 and which would be recommended to start with? also looking for a book, and last of all.... where's the place for this stuff? does jonsie stock em? any help would be wicked to get me started. cheers guys:001_smile:

ditto bart. go 4 a 14-16in quartertip bar with a 3/8p chain on ur 260, but you will need a sprocket to match, get it from a quality stihl dealer, i cant remember the part number but i can find out. use a 10-14in dimetip bar with a quarter pitch chain on a smaller saw, the same applies to the sprocket conversion. happy carving!
