Would you use an app if it had all up to date TPO’s and conservation areas identified?

Have you got one?

I doubt it, considering that lots of LAs don't even have up to date interactive mapping or their TPOs online as it is. There is a data.gov site where the LAs have provided information - but even that is incomplete and or inaccurate.

It's a great idea for an app but I can't see how you'd get all the information to create it.

One of the la's I deal with charges 20 per tpo for details such as location and a map showing location so can't see it being available on an app. Nice thought though

Food for thought, I was using rother.gov district council site to search for a poss tpo and conservation area and it was shite. I have a friend who builds apps and it would be a great little tool if you’re out pricing up. Search then and there and let the customer know waiting times etc... or if not I can start in a couple of weeks so on and so forth. It’s a challenge I’ll look into.

I think one of the biggest issues will be the fact that the LA's who do have online maps, don't use standardised maps.  It's possible that the point data could be used but without a 'Central Record' for want of a better phrase, it will be canny hard to carry out with any degree of accuracy.
