No.

Chrysler are/where the parent company of Dodge, Plymouth, DeSoto and Valiant. They are collectively known as Mopars. A few more but you get the idea. Valiant and Chrysler where what was available and built in Oz. Some of the Valiants available from 1967 to around 1971 where basically US copies but the Aussies wanted a fully Australian car and the Valiant Charger was born. The Valiant Charger is built on the the smaller USA 'A' Body platform the same as Barracuda's, Darts, and Dusters. Where as the Dodge Charger is built on the 'B' Body platform the same as Satalites, Road Runners, Super Bee's.

The only thing really relating the Valiant Charger is some of the engine choices, Transmission Choices and the badge Script that says Charger. :D

Understood . Oh and the lime green paint ! ?

I have another one that I'll restore one day. That might get painted Pink. :D Penta Magenta is the colour and the Charger below is maybe one of the most expensive there is. Maybe £200,000 worth?
