computer probs

i guys, my laptop is running really slow and the fan is on most of the time, i have checked my drives and one is empty and the other is only 66% full, i have all the firewall stuff and they havent detected any bad stuff, its a new laptop(about 4 months old i think) i know my router isnt up to date with my laptop, the lady in the shop told me it wouldnt let the laptop work to its max, but it has been great just up till this week, any thoughts:confused1:

having similar problems with mine:thumbdown: ive gone through and deleted any unwanted programmes and files, still no quicker. no virus' etc think its time i upgraded the ram to be honest!

 

oh and pouring half a pint of orange juice on it probly hasnt helped:thumbdown:

(ps dont try drying the keyboard with a hair dryer...it starts to melt the buttons until they pop off and you have half a keyboard left like me)

i took the fan out of a laptop once and gave it a good blow out, worked a treat afterwards

 

do you sit with the computer on your lap?

i never did until last week, but my back was getting sore so i am back on hte bouncy ball at the desk, do you think the fan is full of oosy stuff from my clothes?

its not good to sit with it on your lap, computer overheats too easy, best sitting it on a desk or something
