I'm helping dad with some fencing and firewood over christmas, maybe up to mid January. Fencing, firewood processing, firewood moving (lengths and/or final product), ideally some digging, general fetching and carrying.

This is a list of everything we ideally want but missing some things is not the end of the world:

Base machine of ≤5t digger or tractor small enough to get under a 10 foot canopy
Post hole borer
Post knocker
Chipper (PTO, tracked or trailed)
Hydraulic log splitter

Digger grab/grapple/thumb or tractor loader bucket/clamp/forks

Log arch

Does anyone on here have any of the above stuff or know of any hirer who's good to deal with in the area please. No need to suggest Microplant, MTM or Turner thanks; we know all three.

Clean, safe site. It's the garden effectively.

I can probably sort out the digger, post auger, and knocker, there is an unloved chipper in the yard here, don't know the score with that, I'll get some prices if you like. The rest, you are on your own with.

Don’t tell him there’s a redundant chipper available! He’ll have it cannibalised and converted into some sort of Frankenchipper!
