That's an amazing vehicle. Is it as topheavy as it looks?

 

err no, they (when unloaded) will happily go over the manufactures rated 38deg side slope though you tend to chicken out first especially if your on the down side! ;)

 

loaded is a different matter though, but like anything if you drive like a dickhead to fast momentum/weight shift will tip you over long before the static angle would :icon14:

 

my one has a basic weight of ~6100KG (~13445LB) and most of that is situated between the chassis rails beneath the lower edge of the door height apart from 6" of the block & the cylinder head, the unloaded static weight distribution is F:R 3400kg:2700kg (7494LB:5951LB) or ~60:40

hear is a U1300L ex military one being driven badly :scared: but it shows the "topheavy as it looks" is not the case, but the longer wheel base dose help.
