A friend of mine in Sweden is due home at the beginning of March and he has offered to look at it, it would mean I have to buy the special tools though.

If he’s offered to do it I’d buy the kit and plenty of beer/wine/whatever his fancy is! Never know the tools may be available 2nd hand on eBay and you could punt them on and not loose much? Amazed at the £3k to do it, dealers just want to push you into a new one all the time, it couldn’t possibly be 20hrs + work for a ‘technician’ with all the kit and experience they have.

 

As previously mentioned though I’d be interested in it for parts or I’ll take some bits if you break it.
