Another cool weekend

Spent the weekend at Waipu Caves, this is an amazing place if your ever over here on holiday. Totally free, you can just walk into the caves system and go as far as you want/ dare. After about 5mins of walking you turn a cnr and the whole cave system is alight with glowworms-i really wish my camera could do it justice! hundreds of thousands of hanging threads from glowworms act like fishing lures. very very cool and the campground is also free:001_smile:

I remember going to Waitomo,(I think it was), but thats south of Auckland AFAIK. Waipu, 1.5 hrs north of Auckland - anywhere near Keri Keri? I worked there for a while.

waitomo is south bro. waipu is between aucks and kerikeri, about halfway.

i got married on waipu beach.caves are 30 mins from beach,well worth a look.
