I'm tethering from my phone at the moment and everything is working fine, but today a mate came round and wanted to use my iPad to show me something on his twitter account, it wouldn't load, it said something like "safari can't open this page because it's not a secure connection. What does this mean. Mr B, anyone?

No surprise at all. My worry is, if it happens with one of my suppliers, (rs components) it's going to be costly. I rang two orders through last month, both shortish call, £3.50 a pop!

Why does that not surprise me.

 

If I can't get on to some suppliers websites because of this problem I will have to pay extortionate, rip off phone call rates to order parts.
