I was looking at the tom tom hgv professional range earlier, I had to have a little lie down when I saw the price of them...

We have tom tom in our fleet eggs, to monitor drivers locations, fuel usage, delivery routes, driving time, breaks blah blah blah..... AWESOME piece of kit and the actual onboard sat nav that the system is linked to in the cab it spot on too [emoji108]
Obviously price wise to an individual like yourself is probably not feasible. I’d recommend the snooper navs, can programme your weights, widths, heights etc and the screen is a good size on em, caravan club do some promotional deals on em sometimes if your using it in conjunction with your camper and your if registered with that club could be worth a looksy for ya [emoji6][emoji106]

I have had an ebay Chinese truck sat nav for a few years since, a snooper truck sat nav packed up, and seemed to be OK with bridges and weight limits.

From memory it was about £70 - £80 with the tmc traffic adaptor. The same without the traffic was about £20 less.

From what people say about the tomtom traffic, which sound good to be fair, the tmc is not as good, never used a tomtom so can`t comment from personal experience.

Nice one, They look ok. £200-£400, I don't really want to be down the £400 route, but if that's what it takes, that's what it is. Can you recommend which model of Snooper?

oh, and yes, it's to be used in my camper.

I've just been looking at them, some have built in free view. I wasn't planing on having a telly but that would be handy for the odd things I do want to watch.

Just flicked on to caravan club now and they advertise avtex navs, they’re nearly £400-£500 tho [emoji15][emoji33][emoji27]
I would imagine that any “hgv” promoted nav is going to be pretty good, i’d be happy paying £200 for a nav personally but £400 is too much in my opinion.
Take a look at “trucknavs” just punch it in to google, its an 01524 contact number, Lancaster which isnt to far from me, hes an ex truck driver that has cottoned on to a niche in the market looking at the website, seems very reasonable [emoji106]
