Chipper engine cover

My chipper has a lombardini 625 engine. It isn't covered and exposed to the elements, dust etc. I want to put a cover around it. It's air cooled though. Could this be an issue?
Mine has that engine also. I can take some pics of the cover tomorrow for you so you can see about air vents etc
