Intetrested what you will you use it for?

Transporting 1000 tonnes of brash is going to be a bit of a hassle, will be massive volume........

Try and find skyline winch contractors, they will have plenty brash at  roadside and I'm sure they will gladly sell it to you.

Might chip it on site if poss or if its local enough could haul the volume if site owner didnt want chipping on site, just was wondering how much it would cost road side ?

I have a skyline winch but based in Argyll so no use to you. Maybe try asking at jas p Wilson, they will know contractors in the borders.

hi i would say £10-12 per tonne road side but i think you will struggle on that one in that area as the new power station at Lockerbie was built and designed to burn all the brash and chip wood out of the borders, dunfries& galloway and Lanackshire , but someone got there sums sadly wrong on that one as 18 mth since they where taking saw logs in there to chip and burn as the volume of brash had been miss calculated.

Oh i see, two large sites within a few miles of here flat dry great for removing brash but they have left the brash behind, might have too rethink if the power station is going to take everything though.
