If its cracked e6G`z it will be on the move so its a liner or just smear  a few big dollops of clay over the cracks and refill quickly . Ponds used to be lined with unfired bricks to retain water.

Did you ever fix this?  Just completed a website for a lining company and it made me think of this thread

No, the lady of the house agreed a price on the day, then I got an email saying we are going to leave it a little while (read, we've had a cheaper quote).
