This sort of weather tends to sort out the weak batteries, thought id mention a good charger ive used for a good few years.

 

Ctek 3600 (replaced by MX7) can do 12 and 6v more importantly can charge at 7 amps.

 

If your like me and dont like faffing around under the bonnet, I knocked up a charger plug to go into the trailer electrics socket so can charge and leave everything locked up tight.

Cracking idea. I've got 2 CTEK chargers but both of them have dodgy switches. Just ordered a 20A charger from alpha batteries plus a big commercial battery for my tractor as I'm fed up not being able to start it in this recent cold snap

I guess the Disco is CANbus electrics and has a live feed to the trailer all the time,  wouldn't work with my oldie-worldy style Landrover.

what connections do you use in the plug?
