Having a little play with movie maker.

First bit the Chestnut from my other thread different angle with sound.

The rest an ivy coverd birch and some Sycamores we have been felling to build a bridge with.

Well done to Matt and Andrew first time they’ve been out felling since passing their cs31

What did you mill the timber with?

Were just doing it free hand, wish i had a mill would be lot easier

Acorn, are you milling everything with a chainsaw mill? What about high value stuff such as cherry and yew?

We only mill big stuff that we carnt move with the chainsaw mills, we have a static band saw at the woodland, we do however mill quite a lot on site with the Logsol M7, I know you loose a bit more than a band mill but its not to bad.

Would like too, but its going to be built green over a drananage channel, and the only thing ive got to treat it with is creasote

Not the best timber to use untreated in this situation but the only option i have.
