Thinking of starting on my own??

Hi everyone i am thinking if starting my own business, i was wondering if anyone could give me a rough idea on how much you spend on insurances, machinery repairs and yard rental each year on your business. Also is there any big money factors i am missing apart from staff wages??

Yard costs will depend on location, what size you need could be anywhere from free to thousands a month.
Depending on what kit you have will depend what repair bills you will have.
Also if you’ve bought new or dodgy second hand.
Wages will be top then fuel

Ok im in Kent, will probably get a truck, trailer, small chipper, log splitter, and it will all be next to new. Any rough ideas on insurance then?

If your in Kent like me yard prices can be a lot and also hard to find.
I'd try hunting out a local farmer or similar to get some field space from.

Insurance prices will vary depending on how much kit you have.
Trust are who I use and I believe it's £25 for every £1000 of kit you have

Also with all that new gear think of a safe way to keep it locked up as there's been a lot of gear getting nicked round this way

work place pensions, pli,  accountant , employers nis contributions, cost of waste disposal  you also might want to add permanent health insurance for your self

Take one step at a time- use subby labour to begin with, you will still need EL and PL insurance. approach farmers for a bit of chip/log pile ground. Allow for a decent bit of advertising untill you get a big enough client base etc.
