It is your right. I just thought if they are making a promotional type video at least ad some skill into it

You could look at it from the customets point of view in that its quicker with a crane,less mess to clear up and looks like a big proffesional outfit with all the assosiated machinery.

I know what you mean though,its not great to watch is it...

I reckon they had a purpose in mind for the trunk and the crane was not going to pick it at that radius.

I would have taken off the remaining limbs and just felled the stick though

Youtube is full of crane  videos trying to lift too large trunk sections and then the crane goes thru the garage  or house.Much safer to put it on the ground and then find out if you can lift it.
