Hey,

Those that use knee ascenders, how do you attach them to yourselves?

I've tried some bungee cord to my bridge, but my weight transfers onto it.

I've also tried it strapped around my knee but it sits at a funny angle and doesn't flow very well.

I have petzl croll.

Thanks,

Mark.

You are trying to make your own ascender rather than buying one of the ready made ones I take it?  You need to make a foot stirrup of some description, then run an approximate 12" piece of webbing from that to your croll.  then a piece of bungee from the croll to your bridge.  I will try and find a pic

Yeah, I just have a tape attached to the bottom for now. Just having trouble with it following me up nicely when i transfer my weight to my foot ascender.

bungee too long or not thick enough perhaps

Did for mine, but then I use quite a long length as Im 6ft 4".

Maybe that's why my knee snaps back up all the time.:)
