Just a point that you have at least 10 or so people saying they would attend an event in Inverness yet you suggest somewhere a lot further south.
But yes very central to those places.

Hey, not being engaged with the whole of the thread I missed that TBH :$.

So, maybe I could do one day in Pitlochry n one day in Inverness o.O

I have just spoken to someone at the Forestry College (Inverness) and they are willing to host AA events and workshops! :D

Of course the details will need to be worked out but still great news. I've suggested starting with Duncan's as he's confirmed he would be happy to run his tree forks workshop but if something else's ran first it wouldn't matter. All depends on availability and interest I'm sure.

I'll email Steve and I can cc you in too Paul, if you want to send me your email address?

Oh and I should have signed this off before I guess...

You are quite right in your assumption about "where" in Scotland we deliver stuff and, to date, I have used the Royal Highland Showground (next door to Edinburgh Airport) as a seeming compromise...looks like I'll just have to hire a car and drive to the snow line :)

There is an airport in Inverness Paul and its spitting distance from the Forestry School.  To be fair,  I suppose you would not know that though, not having ventured any further north than Edinburgh;).

Cant remember if I said already, but I would be interested in attending Duncan's Forking Seminar. So that's 2 of us at least!

"Inver...where?" :D

I do indeed know about the  airport now AND Easy jet fly there from Bristol...result!

So, it's looking increasingly like 2-days in Inverness, one of which would be the ARB Approved Contractor workshop, the other...something else ;)

Thanks all and will.post back more soon.

Best

Paul
