Bonfire stupidity

Recommended Posts

Went to a fireworks display tonight.

Seems ever more rare that these include a bonfire these days.

This one did - pretty big site, more than enough room for the mandatory (perhaps over enthusiastically applied so called H&S requirements to separate people from the hazard of fire, Hell, they even had a no sparklers rule “for H&S reasons!”)

To all intents and purposes, it “looked” like they had given some thought to safety (perhaps at the expense of personal responsibility and enjoyment) right up to the point where I noticed the position of the unlit bonfire. Right under a Beech tree!

Retards!
