I was talking to Steve about tree huggers earlier and this set me thinking how many of us would call ourselves tree geeks who love everything about trees from saplings to to veterans from fungi to shapes and colours. Or do you see it as a job and money and that is it. I know both sorts i know a couple of lads who hate trees it is a job only. Lets see what we have on this forum i place monkeyd at no 1 followed by Sean at no 2:lol: Oh that puts me at 3 then:thumbup1:

I think it becomes a drug. The more you work in and around trees the more you love em IMO. Its such a diverse type job and no day is the same. Its such a pleasure to be climbing different trees all the time and in all kinds of places. I just love going to a job and seeing a tree that I have never climbed before or just a tree that looks fun!

Im def not a tree hugger as those guys wouldnt even let a dead wood go forward. But I love what I do and being up there in my office is one of the best jobs in the world................
