Chainsaw maintanance manuals

Hi guys

I was looking at maintenance manuals on the web and have came across a few for chainsaws (unfortunatly haynes dont make any). I know bits and pieces about engines and maint but find manuals and other liteture the best training aid/referance, as opposed to the internet as you cant always find specific repair/maint procedures.

Can anyone recommend any good books/manuals? That they have used in the past or know of that would suit a begginer like me.

Im hopefully getting my hands on a knackered saw in a couple of weeks so i can take it to bits and put back together again just for hands on and learning all of the components etc, but it would be handy for a physical book to guide me.

Cheers

Not sure yet. One of my grandads friends is empting his shed in the week, whitch is full of shite (according to him) but he knows he has a saw in there somewhere. The guy used to do tree work till a few years ago so im hoping for a decent model, or it could just be an aldi special. We'll have to just wait and see. Excited either way.

Watch a few Youtube videos about what you want to find, they are good sources of instructions. I've mended my own saws for a while now and also done phones and tablets following videos, saved a lot on repair costs and got a few good toys along the way.
