CS100 blade bolts....

All done at last. I've refitted with good quality hex bolts and applied a little copper slip to the threads and underside of the heads on fitting. Torqued to 28nm and set 0.5mm from the anvil on the closer of the two blades. It's not quite the same for both blades, the other is about .75mm off but that should still cut well.

Now, who to send the old pair off to for sharpening? My local dealer isn't all that local sadly.

Hopefully you aren’t referring to us? :)

I was thinking TH White were my closest dealer? I've not needed anything for this chipper so far as it's been really good. I'm always up for learning about other traders locally who can help me when needed...

TH White used to be.. They haven’t been since May and we have taken the area over. We are based in the centre of Wiltshire near Melksham.

If you do need any spares or advice our contact number is 01380 828863 or my mobile number is 07881 027599 (anytime)

Who  ever sharpens them make sure they know about the angle on the opposite side to the main ground bit. If that's forgotten and only ground one side it's next to bloody useless!

i had the same issue first time I changed the blades on mine, rest assured copper slip and quality bolts have meant it's never happened since. First time it's a c--t!
