Well I took that orange saw back and got it exchanged.

This replacement I could barely turn over the engine was so tight and so I never got it started.

So a refund it was 'merdre alors'...

You angling for a de-comp valve on a 50cc saw old man?

Definately go with these Lil cheap saws fr occasional work, got a top handled 25cc fr under £100 and it Definately owes me nothing now (5 yrs old ) Not a MS200 but then way less of a loss when nicked-as most seem to end their life like that. K

I got one of the £70 top handles a few years ago for a one off job at home and it's had a few outings now. I run it on Aspen instead of the recommended 25:1 mix and it's had a carb kit but it starts and runs after standing for months at a time. It does cut out on the over run sometimes but it's a doddle to start even up a tree. I'd like something with a bit more power but at the price I paid for this I can't complain about it.

And they are back!

Brico-depot, a part of the B&Q empire offering this top handle for €69

I've one as a back up/hedge slaying saw and can't fault it for the money. It's a close copy of an Echo.
