Well I'm convinced, I'm splashing out on a pair of sealskinz. I usually prefer to buy several pairs of cheaper gloves and just swap them out throughout the day, but I think I'll give them a try.

Could you pm me a price on some size 9 sealskinz and a Topsaw Pocketwrench please? They look handy. Thanks.

depends what sytem you are on, prussik they will have enough grip for ages, on vt or mechanical device then not so long unless you are footlocking or using a pantin, the grip glazes over with wear, so pulling on rope is quite slippy. I have never been a fan of climbing with gloves, but i keep them on the heaters, so when i am getting ready my hands are toasty and when i start ascending i chuck them in my jumper until i get to the top and stick them back on for crown work.

Can't expect anything to last long in this industry, especially gloves. But the longevity I'm hearing about sounds pretty acceptable for the pricetag. I think I'll save these for the really rotten days and use the cheap(er) and cheerful Tegera's for everything else. :thumbup1:
